Responsibilities

Lead design and user experience for significant parts of our product (encompassing credit underwriting, fraud detection, and compliance risk management functionalities); contribute to the design process from prioritization through launch
Collaborate closely with product, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into design solutions.
Drive the development of design concepts, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on designs based on user insights.
Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across the platform.
Be comfortable with breaking down ambiguous problems, ruthlessly prioritizing the highest impact work, and aligning a cross-functional team around it
Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies, and advocate for the adoption of best practices within the team.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of designing complex, data-driven applications. Startup or digital product agency is a plus.
Demonstrated experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user interface design, interaction design, and information architecture.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe (nice to have)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design ideas and rationale to cross-functional teams.
Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with experience conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering user feedback.
Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
