Where it Helps
The Workflow Creation agent is embedded directly in the Oscilar workflow editor. Describe what a workflow should do, in plain language or by pasting an image of a diagram, flowchart, or hand-drawn sketch, and it drafts or edits the execution graph: steps, edges, and conditions. It also works in reverse: ask it what an existing workflow does and it returns a plain-language breakdown of the steps, conditions, and decision logic, useful for explaining a workflow to a new stakeholder.
Key Capabilities
Natural-Language Authoring
Turns a plain-English policy description into an executable workflow, in minutes.
Image-to-Workflow
Accepts a screenshot, flowchart, or hand-drawn sketch as input for generation.
Targeted Editing
Adjusts thresholds, adds risk checks, or edits a single step in an existing workflow.
Plain-Language Summarization
Explains what an existing workflow does, on request, in table or narrative form.
Step-by-Step Proposals
Returns suggested changes one step at a time rather than a single unreviewable output.
Human-in-the-Loop Approval
Runs behind an approval step; nothing writes to a live workflow without user acceptance.
Change Audit Trail
Generated and accepted changes are tracked for review.
How it Works
1
Describe the Workflow
User enters a natural-language description or pastes an image of an existing workflow or diagram.
2
Agent Drafts Changes
Agent proposes a set of changes, one per step.
3
User Reviews Suggestions
User accepts all changes, retries with a refined prompt, or discards the suggestions.
4
Workflow Updated
Accepted changes update the workflow graph, ready for the team’s normal review and publish process.
