Where it Helps
When an alert fires on a thin subject, with a name and little else, an analyst typically spends 10 to 30 minutes on the open web working out who the subject is. They then write it up so the decision holds up in an audit. The same manual research repeats on every alert, and real matches sit in the queue next to the many name collisions around them. The OSINT Research agent does that research before a human opens the case. Analysts confirm or override the recommendation rather than rebuilding the same web search on every name collision.
Key Capabilities
Automated Open-Web Research
The agent researches each flagged subject using live web search and public sources, with no manual searching required.
Sourced Subject Profile
Builds a structured profile covering approximate age or year of birth, location, occupation, and employer. Every fact links to its source URL, snippet, and timestamp.
Evidence-Based Confidence
Confidence is computed from checkable inputs: how many independent sources agree, how reputable they are, and whether anything conflicts. It is not the model grading itself.
Rule-Based Clear or Escalate Recommendation
A deterministic rule compares the discovered year of birth, as a range with built-in tolerance, against the listed party’s date of birth. Years decades apart support a clear recommendation.
Analyst-Ready Narrative
A plain-language write-up states the recommendation, the evidence behind it, and the sources, ready for the analyst to review and sign.
Configurable Thresholds and Source Controls
Admins set the minimum confidence band that feeds screening, set research budgets, and gate data sources by vertical for permissible-purpose compliance.
How it Works
1
Analyst Flags an Open Question
Analyst marks a case as needing information, or the agent detects a documentation gap during investigation.
2
Agent Drafts the RFI
The agent pulls case details and drafts a structured RFI ready for review.
3
Analyst Sends and Agent Tracks
Analyst approves and sends; the agent starts the response clock and follow-up cadence.
4
Response Logged, Case Updated
Responses are logged against the case, and overdue RFIs are flagged for escalation.
